Thor Thursday - Inked

Thursday is Thor's day, and so its time for some Thunder-God action. for Odin, for Asgard! :D

"How long have you been doing this?" Is a common question I get when people see my work, and the answer is "All my life.". I've drawn ever since I was able to hold a pencil in my hands and do something other than chew on it. And while I've taken art classes throughout school, I'm mostly self-taught.

My artwork, as is obvious, is largely presented as comic-style illustration, although I can do many other things, such as portraiture. In fact, that's what I really want do with my work, and that's fashion a career in comics and fantasy illustration.

New stuff is coming...

As you can see, I've uploaded an in-progress rough sketch of movie Optimus Prime, and that's just for starters. Some of the upcoming work will include:

* Kitty Pryde
* Captain America
* Gears (Transformers)

There will also be other new Transformers works, Prime, Megatron, Shockwave, and possibly a few others. I also will be working on new portrait sketches of a friend or two, and possibly some stuff I haven't even anticipated as yet. we'll see what happens!

Keep your eyes peeled, as there's likely to be a surprise or two :D
